Under orders from his master Darth Sidious, Maul tracked both Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan Kenobi to Tatooine; it was there that Darth Maul planned to destroy them both. Though the Jedi Master’s skill overcame the Sith Lord’s lightsaber attack, it would not be the last time that the two would cross sabers.
